Student Feedback on workbooks: WWW and EBI

Correcting works books is a necessary but also important step in giving feedback to students.
At my current school they have a tradition when marking book to give feedback in a structures and straight forward manner. It revolves around 6 letters - WWW and EBI

WWW, you ask?!?! WWW.... do you mean world wide web??

No! WWW and EBI are acronyms for What Went Well and Even Better If. Its simple positive affirmation and short term goal/feedback for the student.

In this particular school its ingrained their culture so much they have stamps made up especially for this purpose.

I have found it positive little skill and idea that can be easily incorporated into your ongoing assessment.
